Holly was wed three times. First, she married actor Danny Quinn. Two years after their marriage, in 1993, they split up. Alaina was 8 years old when she was crowned the winner of The Southern Stars Pageant's Talent Competition. The following year, Alaina was invited to perform at the festival's Riverbend Kids talent stage. The festival allowed the contest on its main stage at age 12 after she had performed there every year. At the age of 10 she travelled from Florida across the state to Orlando in order to compete in the American Model and Talent Competition. She won more than 1500 kids in the contest. Alaina was a part of the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association children's choir. Alaina was just 12 years old when she made her first trip to Nashville. The singer also appeared in local bars like Tootsie's on Broadway. Alaina took home the WinniSTAR contest to showcase young talent in 2009 at Lake Winnepesaukah.
