Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman is the Distinguished Professor of Psychology as well as director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. It is believed that she was the one responsible with establishing the current study of eyewitnesses' memory, and the role of children in witnessing. The number of publications by Professor Goodman is extensive, she has received numerous grants and is the recipient of many honors the national level and international. She has provided policy and research consultations to many agencies and departments across the world. She currently acts as a advisor to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center in Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She is a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 55). Professor Goodman belongs to the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a Founding Member, International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of the the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division and three Divisions of Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
